Edamame Salad using Chefast Herb Scissors Set
Share
I cook a lot with fresh herbs, because I just think fresh herbs just taste better. In the past I always used my chef knife to chop herbs into small pieces. This time I had a chance in exchange for writing an unbiased review to try the Chefast Herb Scissor Set

I thought I try the shears out by making my favorite Edame Salad with fresh herbs. I use green onions, basil, a few leaves of Russian Kale that need to be chopped up into small pieces. Today i used these shears which have five stainless steel blades and made the cutting/chopping task a cinch.
Basically just wash your herbs and then use the scissors to cut everything up into small pieces. Add about 3 cups of cooked edamame, 2 tbsp chopped red onion. Add a pinch of sea salt and pepper, the juice of 1 lime and 1 tsp olive oil and toss. Sometimes pieces will get stuck in the shears and that's when you use the green gizmo to just dislodge everything with one quick sweep.
