Return and Refund Policy

At Portraits and Miniatures by NC, we take great pride in the craftsmanship of our handmade miniatures and custom artwork. Because of the bespoke nature of our products, our return policy is as follows:

General Return Policy

We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item was sent in error (ordering error on our behalf) or arrived damaged during transit.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take immense care in packaging your items to ensure they arrive safely. However, if your order is damaged during shipping or if you received the wrong item:

  1. Contact us within 3 days of receiving your package.

  2. Provide Photographic Evidence: You must include clear photos of the damaged item AND the original mailing box/packaging. This is required for us to file a claim with the carrier.

  3. Return Shipping: In some cases, we may require the item to be sent back. If a return is authorized due to our error or damage, we will provide further instructions on the process.

Custom-Ordered Artwork

All custom-ordered portraits (oil or digital) are created to your specific requirements. These items involve a 100% approval process before shipping; therefore, returns or refunds are not possible once the final piece has been approved and shipped. We highly recommend adding additional insurance to these high-value shipments.

Vendor & Drop-Shipped Items

Certain miniatures and sets ship directly from our global fulfillment partners to offer you a wider selection.

  • These items are subject to the specific quality guarantees of our vendors.

  • If a drop-shipped item arrives defective or damaged, the same 3-day notification rule applies so we can coordinate a resolution with the supplier on your behalf.

Non-Returnable Items

Aside from damages, the following items are strictly Final Sale:

  • Custom-made or personalized artwork.

  • Handmade miniatures from our studio.

  • Intimate apparel or food items.


How to Request a Resolution

If you meet the criteria for a damaged or incorrect item, please reach out via our Contact Page or email us directly at enzieshahmiri@gmail.com with your order number and the required photos.
