Horse Portrait in Oil 591

This horse oil portrait measures 24x24inches and is a great size to really focus on this beautiful animal's head. I worked on making the eye expressive looking. 

Since the painting is rather large, I took some close-up shots so you can see all the details.

Sometimes the reference photo goes through a big transformation in order to make a snapshot turn into something that my client would enjoy looking at for years to come.

Since this is a close up portrait I also added some of the stray hairs around the muzzle. Keeping it light it adds to the realism without over doing it.
