This easy-to-print cabinet is ideal for both beginners and experts in 3D FDM printing. You can use it with or without the bins to suit your design preferences. With 3 different bin designs included, you can mix and match for endless configurations.

Cabinet dimensions: 143mm h x 35mm w x 32 mm d (5.63"h x 1.38" w x 1.26" d)
Bin dimensions: 29mm h x 29mm w x 32mm d ( 1.14"h x 1.14"w x 1.26"d)

Please Note: This is a downloadable STL file for 3D printers. No Physical product will be shipped.

The ZIP file includes 4 STL files (main cabinet body and 1 of each bin design and a READ ME file. Simply upload the files and slice them using your preferred slicer and print them with any FDM 3D printer.

For our example, we used a Bambu X1C with a 0.4mm nozzle and Bambu Gray matte PLA. Here are the settings we used:

My slicer (Bambu Lab Studio) settings are:
Layer height: 0.2mm
Wall number: 3
Order of walls: inner/outer
Bottom layers: 5
Top layer: 5
First layer speed: 20mm/s to 50mm/s (depending on your printer capabilities)
Other layers 30mm/s to 150mm/s (depending on your printer capabilities)
Infill: 5% to 15%
Brim: Optional
Raft: No
Support: No

Models placement orientation
Cabinet main body: Laid flat on its back on the build plate
Cabinet Bins: Laid flat on their base on the build plate

The prints came out great and didn’t require post-processing. Happy printing!

Finishing Tips

3 D printed items require a bit of clean up.

- it's common to see spider web like strings or spurs. If you see them just cut them with an Exacto knife or scissors.

- Laser Wood cut kits have brown rings around the cut area that are laser generated. Some light sanding will take of that.

Sanding

It is always recommended to give the pieces a light sanding with a fine grid sand paper to make sure that the corners fit snug together and that the paint adheres well.

Assembly

Most pieces are easy to assemble and we are always an email away to help you if you have any further questions.

Do a dry fit first to familiarize yourself with what goes where before gluing any parts together.

For our resin casts we recommend using Crazy glue and wood glue like Titebond for wood kits.

Painting

It is highly recommended that you use a primer for the resin pieces so that the paint adheres well. After that your item can be painted with acrylic or oil paint. Resin prints do not absorb stains, so you will have to simulate a stain look by creating thin washes of paint.

Any wood stain, acrylic or oil color can be used on wood. Use thin applications for a refined look.

Gilding

After you have given the item a base color apply Leafing Paint . Plaid has a variety of nice colors for this purpose .

Aging

A Raw Umber wash is ideal for aging. use acrylic paint for fast drying and paint on and wipe off until you get the desired look. Finish the piece with a dry stumble glaze and scratch off areas to make the item look really vintage.

Alternatively you can also use any type of antiquing wax over paint or directly on wood.
