Custom hand-made miniatures can be ordered in 1/24 and 1/12 scale to your specifications. The items that can be ordered range from a beautiful miniature item like a piece of furniture to an incredibly detailed diorama with a building, furnishings, decor items and possibly even outdoor scenery. What happens next

After our initial discussion I will create a digital mock up. This image will show you the placement and overall look what the commissioned work will look like. Once the actual work begins it is documented via videos posted to the homepage of this website.  This is done so you can follow the progression of your order and request tweaks if necessary. Once the project meets with your 100% satisfaction the order is securely packaged and mailed via USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. 

Refunds - If during our discussion it is deemed that the project is outside of your budget you will receive a full refund. Once you agree to proceed with the project the custom order becomes non-refundable or exchangeable. If the item arrives damaged during transit a refund will be requested from the mail carrier and a replacement made for you.

HOW TO ORDER CUSTOM MINIATURES

Miniatures can be custom ordered to your specifications in any desired size (1/24, 1/12 and 1/6 Scale).

Please use the Contact Form to submit your request. Since the complexity of each miniature creation can vary greatly it is recommended that you send photos or screenshots of what you have in mind. Pricing and time to complete commission will depend on the complexity of each project and discussed after each request is reviewed.

    CUSTOM PAINTED ART

    The time frame for custom painted artwork depends on size and complexity. Digital paintings can usually be finished in 7 business days,  but oil paintings take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month, depending on the size and how long it takes for the oil paint to dry before it can safely be shipped. Custom painted artwork ships insured with Priority Mail whenever possible.

I understand and in the unfortunate circumstance that you need to return something, I'll make it easy and promise to work with you to keep you happy!

     CUSTOM PAINTED PORTRAITS AND ARTWORK

    I post work in progress shots of every custom made portrait/painting while I work on your artwork. This is done so you may follow the progress of your painting from start to finish and can make changes as needed until the artwork meets your 100% satisfaction. 

    Your approval of the final painting version means that you are happy with the overall look of the artwork. On rare occasions due to differences in computer monitors, a color might be slightly off. In that case,  just send the painting back free of charge and I will adjust the colors. I highly recommend that you send me a screenshot of the colors you like (or a link) so I can match it for you. Every attempt will be made to color correct to make you happy. If you are still not happy return the painting I will paint you another one in the same size free of charge.

    If the painting gets damaged while in transit, send me a quick email with photos of the damage and I walk you through how to send it back. I will start working on a replacement portrait/painting right away at no cost to you. 

    LOST PAINTING GUARANTEE

    If the painting is lost by the courier shipping agent, I will send you a new artwork at absolutely no charge to you. I ship all the paintings insured, so you do not have to worry about anything.

    FRAME DAMAGE

    If the frame you ordered with your artwork arrives damaged, the item can be replaced according to the vendor's return policies. In most cases frame damages that occur while the item is in transit are exchangable for a new frame.

    Make sure to take photos of the damage and shipping box for a quick handling of the exchange. 

    ARTWORK DAMAGE

    If your painting arrives damaged, contact me at  portraitsbync@gmail.com. I will either repair the damage or, if the damage cannot be fixed, create a new painting for you free of charge.

    MANUFACTURED ITEMS 

    Anything that is not handmade by me and sold through the shop section with the exception of discontinued or clearance items can be returned for an exchange or a full refund within 14 days of purchase, based on the manufactures refund and exchange policies. Items need to be shipped back in their original packaging before exchanges or refunds can be processed to the original location from where the item was shipped from.

    DISCONTINUED AND CLEARANCE ITEMS

    These items are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable except due to my error on an undisclosed defect. In that case, you can exchange the item for something else from my store.
