Geraniums
Share
When I was in 4th grade we moved from Vienna to Tehran and lived at my Persian grandparents home for a while. Being only exposed to apartment living until then, I was struck by the multitude of colors in my grandparents garden. One of the plants that stood out were the multitude of potted Geraniums all along the patio and walkways.
To this day I remember my grandpa pruning and dead heading containers that seemed to overflow with clusters of colorful geraniums. I now do the same thing in my garden and enjoy the different colors and varieties that this species has to offer.
