Custom Made Miniatures and Room Boxes

Custom-made room boxes with various miniatures room scenes can be commissioned in 1/24 or 1/12 scale. Each miniature scene is made with the highest quality materials and attention to detail to assure that you receive a custom piece that can be passed down from one generation to another.

When you contact me to discuss the project be as detailed as possible as to what you have in mind and send me photos. An itemized list will be created and pricing will be based on the size and complexity of the order.

Since it takes time to put together an itemized list I require a $25 consultation fee which is applied to the order total.

Shipping

Shipping is determined by the size of the piece and is charged separately once the item is complete. A 1/12 room box can cost as much as $200 to ship and larger items even more if they have to be crated. 1/24 scale dioramas cost less to ship.

I will check several carriers to determine the best rate for you and in most cases, this can be done ahead of placing the order if you provide me with your address.

How to Proceed

Please submit reference photos and provide information about the project through the contact form first. I will discuss the scope of the process with you and direct you back to this page to submit your deposit.

​TERMS: Payment is due in full at the time of placing your order. I do offer an interest-free payment plan through ShopPay at the time of checkout if you prefer to pay in installments. All commissioned pieces are non-refundable.

Changes

Once the layout is approved changes can not be made. Only little tweaks like color correction can be made.

Add-ons

In the day of Pinterest Pinboards, it is easy to get carried away. Every new item not listed in the initial order is considered an add-on and can only be added for a separate fee if there is space in the diorama.

​Refunds

Custom-made items are non-refundable and can not be exchanged. You will receive work-in-progress shots so that you can approve the progress of the item at each step.

When you submit your payment you also automatically agree to the terms outlined.

Materials

A variety of materials are used to achieve the closest match for the item(s) being made.

Materials used are wood, resin, PLA, cardstock, printed designs, fabric, beads, and more.

Items like metallic objects are made to look like metal, chrome, or copper with the use of paint and aging techniques. No actual metals are used.

Pottery items are either made with a 3D printer and painted or made of modeling clays.

As every item is made resemble it's counterpart in real life, please understand that the pieces are handmade and slight variations in the size, color and material should be expected.

Materials used are made to resemble the objects and a 100% match is just not possible.

For commissioned pieces, a deposit of 50% of the total price is required to begin the project.

After the project is 75% done you will be asked to pay an additional 25%.

The remaining 25% + shipping fee is due at completion time.

Should the buyer decide to cancel the order before project completion, the down payment and any other made payments are non-refundable.

• Once you have placed your order I will start working on a proof to show you the overall look of the commissioned piece.
• Look at it carefully and make any requests for layout changes at this time.
• Once the proof is approved the work begins and no major changes are possible. Only minor adjustments like tweaks in color can be made.
• Throughout the build process images of the work will be shared with you, so that you can request tweaks if necessary.
• Once everything is completed it is shown to you for your final approval before it all gets packaged for shipping.

Dioramas vary in size and complexity and can take anywhere from several weeks to month or even a year. If your diorama is a gift make sure to mention it and every effort will be made to get it ready by then. Delivery times will be discussed after a quote has been given.

The miniatures are collectables and not suitable for play. They are not meant for children under 14 years of age.

• Dioramas can vary greatly in size and weight based on materials used and the overall size. Therefore I kindly request that you pay the shipping charges to ship the item insured. I will shop around for the best rate before adding the shipping cost to your final payment (p.s. there is never an upcharge on shipping).

• Shopping outside the U.S? You're in luck because I ship worldwide! You will be quoted the rate, based off the weight of the package. (p.s. there is never an upcharge on shipping)

• Damage I package your diorama very well to protect it while in transit. I can not be responsible for mishandling during transit and therefore insure each package with the carrier. If your diorama gets damaged during transit contact me immediatly and I will contact the carrier on your behalf to file a claim. Make sure you take photos of the damaged package and the contents and submit the asap.

• IMPORTED ITEMS

Imported Items can sometimes get stuck in custom or be delayed en route. As much as I like to speed up delivery it is out of my hands. It's best to allow up to 21 for shipping.
