Which portrait option should I choose?

Most clients choose a digital painting printed on canvas, as it arrives ready to hang and offers the best balance of quality, presentation, and value. If you’re looking for a traditional fine art piece with visible brush texture, the hand-painted oil on canvas is a premium option. Digital file only is best suited for international clients or those who prefer to arrange their own printing.

Is the portrait fully hand-created?

Yes. Every portrait is individually hand-painted by artist Enzie Shahmiri. Each commission begins with a custom digital sketch for your approval before the final artwork is completed.

Can I include more than one pet or a rider?

Yes. Additional pets or riders can be included for a flat additional fee of $75 per subject. Multi-subject portraits are carefully composed to ensure balance and likeness.

Do you offer other canvas sizes?

Yes. While standard sizes are listed, custom canvas sizes are available upon request.

• Canvas sizes shown are ready to hang
• Museum Wrap (0.75") is the standard option — ideal for framing or displaying as-is
• Gallery Wrap (1.25") is available for an additional $45
• All canvases include finished sides and hanging hardware attached

Custom canvas sizes are always welcome — just reach out before ordering.

Best suited for international clients or those who prefer to arrange local printing. A high-resolution digital file is delivered electronically.

Step 1: Digital Sketch & Approval

Each commission begins with a hand-painted digital sketch, showing the placement, proportions, and overall composition of your subject(s) on the canvas.

This is the stage where adjustments can be made to:

• Layout and positioning
• Background direction
• Overall mood and color balance

Once the sketch is approved, the final artwork begins.

Step 2: Artwork Creation (Based on Your Selected Finish)

The approved digital painting is used as an underpainting and then entirely transformed by hand using professional, artist-grade oil paints. This process creates rich texture, depth, and a traditional fine art appearance. Oil portraits require additional time due to layered drying and detailing.

A high-resolution digital portrait is completed and delivered electronically, suitable for personal printing. This option is ideal for international clients or those who prefer local printing.

Step 3: Finishing & Quality Review

• Oil paintings receive protective UV varnish once fully cured
• All canvases are finished with gallery-quality edges and include hanging hardware
• Progress updates are shared throughout the process
• Minor refinements may be requested before final completion

Nothing is shipped until you are 100% satisfied with your portrait.

🛃 Customs, VAT & Import Fees

For international orders:

• Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer
• These fees are set by your local government and are not included in the item price or shipping cost
• Delays caused by customs processing are outside my control

🚢 Imported Item & Transit Delays

Occasionally, international shipments may be delayed due to customs inspections or carrier transit issues. While I do everything possible to ensure timely delivery, please allow up to 21 days for international shipping once your artwork has shipped.

Every piece in my shop is selected or created with a specific vision in mind. To maintain a sustainable studio and continue offering unique finds, I operate on a made-to-order and direct-fulfillment basis.

The Nature of Your Acquisition
Because I begin work (or initiate the fulfillment of curated miniatures) the moment your order is placed, all sales are final. *

Bespoke & Commissioned: Handmade and print-on-demand items are created specifically for you and cannot be returned to inventory.

• Curated Editions: My sourced miniatures are ordered and dispatched directly to your door to keep costs and shipping times efficient.

As a small, independent shop, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges for "change of heart," style preferences, or incorrect size selections. I invite you to reach out to me personally before purchasing if you have any questions about a piece’s dimensions or details.

If Your Order Arrives Less Than Perfect

While I vet every partner and process, I know that issues can happen during transit. If your acquisition arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, I will make it right.

I will personally arrange a no-cost replacement for:

• Shipping Damage: Items broken or marred during their journey.
• Production Flaws: Structural defects or printing errors.
• Order Errors: If I accidentally sent the wrong item or size.

2. Photos of the damage (including a shot of the shipping label and the exterior packaging).

• Sample artworks I personally create may be used on prints and merchandise within my shop but are not licensed for outside commercial use unless we arrange a written licensing agreement.
