Modern Cockatoo Painting
Christmas orders are pouring in and I am so busy that I have had to ask hubby to run errands like shipping and buying art supplies, etc. . I jut finished this little, cutie a Cockatoo who will be shipped to Australia as soon as the paint is dry. This is also a perfect example to show you what the 5x7 in canvas size looks like.
This canvas can be placed on a flat surface like a nightstand or end table and it can be hung as is or even framed. I apply paint all around so that the canvas has a finished look and looks clean.
Now to the before and after image of this painting.
My client wanted a contemporary look and really liked the color dabs. The body posture and all the markings of the bird were recreated and the color was punch up to make it really pop.
