Warehouse of Contemporary Art Exhibition - After Event Report

Statue of Liberty by Robert Holton

This last Saturday, I was one of the exhibiting artists in a group show at the

Warehouse of Contemporary Art

and had so much fun getting to know some really cool people. I also have not laughed so much in a long time and had a blast.

The Exhibit

The owner of the Pop Culture Gallery (on premises of WOCA) is

Robert Holton

, who is well known for his Pop Culture Art. What a wonderful place! Colorful and filled to the brim with iconic Americana images, you take a voyage through time. Robert entertained us with some very interesting stories of people he has met through the WOCA exhibits and was a delight to get to know.

Ben Walker exhbited work from his Love-Death-Sex series.

Ingrid Marrero showed her lovely collage work. Irene Vincent brought her mystical visionary art and works from Larry Barnes and Paul Serrano completed the exhibit. Unfortunately, the lighting was bad and I did not get good photos of their work.
