The portrait of the Doberman is starting to take shape. The color is in and it soon will be time to add details and highlights. I am also still not happy with the background, so that needs to be tackled as well. I hope you enjoy seeing the painting progress through its many stages. I need to work on the transition from the dark to the lighter areas of the background and a soon as that is also done will post another update.
