Meet Scarlet a very cute small red toy poodle, who belongs to a toy poodle breeder in Michigan. Her website Pampered Poodles has more photos of Scarlett and pictures of toy poodle puppies that are just adorable. 

With Scarlet as with other poodle portraits showing the multitude of curls is achieved by creating a high contrast and adding texture. Of course expressive eyes are a must and I hope that my client will love the way the painting has turned out. Below is a close-up of those eyes that speak volumes...
