Greyhound Portrait Painting Progression 1

Greyhound Painting Progression 1 This is "Beauty" a Greyhound who recently passed away. This shows the initial painting progression. I am trying to get her out of the dark shadows and make her blend better with her new background. The nose is completely lost in the reference photo and I have been trying to model it back to a more pronounced shape.
