This cat portrait started out with two different photos being merged into one. The original reference photo showed the cat with closed eyes and was not very suitable for a portrait. However the basket made for an interesting foreground and was better than the bag the cat was sitting in in the second photo.
Since the cat's pose shifted I had to create a neck but had to make sure that the markings still remained the same. Here is a detail of the head...
