Brass Armband

The brass armband has little turquoise stones embedded in it, but I have to look the name up, since I can't remember what they are called. The work on the piece itself is coming along, but there needs to be more modeling. When things are are not "popping" it is best to ask weather one needs to go lighter or darker. I have a feeling that I need to go darker in areas to make the beads really jump out.

Today, I spent the entire morning at the open studio, trying to figure out what is happening with the area between the shoulder and arm. Be it my luck it was 10 min poses, so I had to circle around the model and could do little else than make color observations.
