Update on Love Faith Shame and Hope Exhibit

In February I submitted three paintings for consideration to the Picture Art Foundation for an exhibit titled: "On Being Human: Love, Faith, Shame and Hope". I wrote about the paintings I chose to enter here

Yesterday I received word that out of 850 entries from 50 different countries, my painting of the "Iranian Man" was chosen for the theme of "Love". I am so excited about this, because this painting not only represents my Iranian heritage, but is important for the reasons I wrote about.

The painting will be on exhibit from May 5 (opening night) until until October 30th, 2011 at 

PICTURE Cultural Art 1st Floor of the New Library at California State University, Dominguez Hills
