Pet portraits are painted on canvas from your photo and colors of backgrounds can be matched to fit any desired color scheme. This is the 2nd portrait I have painted for the same family and it was important that the 2nd portrait has a similar background color like the 1st painting.
Matching colors can easily be done, since I keep all images of painted portraits on file. Sometimes clients send me links to colors they like to have and those are matched with oil paint as much as possible. Since each painting is handpainted there are some slight color variations, but the overall effect is a very close match. Here is a before and after photo .
