When my client ordered the portrait of this Schnauzer, she told me that the dog had very long eye lashes. She wanted to make sure that I featured them since I guess this is the signature feature of this cutie.
The original reference photo was rather muted and I decided to play up the colors and bring the dog more into the foreground. I used the reflected light in the room to really build up the fur and give the dog a painterly look.
I did forget to take a final shot so the image above is before I did some more enhancements. I hope that my client will be happy with the end result. If you like to order a similar portrait click below for pricing.
