In the past I have donated paintings to raise funds for different causes, such as raising money for the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the Fran Joswick Riding Center, Rescue Missions, etc. But I thought I really wanted to do something for those who are in dire need of help. After watching Angelina Jolie during an interview about her work with the United Nations and reading about Khaleid Hosseini's involvement with the same organization, I figured "let's go global"!
So not having been to Darfur and lacking resource material, I enlisted the help of some kind souls and finally found a beautiful image for the project. My thanks goes to Stephanie Zito, who has provided this photo of a young girl in one of the feeding centers.
