Blue Tribe Painting is finished!

blue tribe figurative painting

There comes a time when one paints, where you keep looking at the painting wondering what else to do. In my opinion that's one of the most dangerous times, because either the painting gets over worked or the artist starts to mess up things. I have reached that point for the time being and will call "Blue Tribe" finished.

I want to thank everyone who particpated in this venture, starting with Denise Piggin, who gave me her photo and who has designed this beautiful headdress, to Vicky who has provided me with information about the "Kushi"tribe of Afghanistan and his endless supply of other tribal jewelery to those of you who have sent me Emails and followed this work in progress. You urged me on to push myself as far as my artistic abilties allowed me to not let you, my viewers, down!
