Every so often, a story finds me that breaks my heart. This one is about a loyal dog—a Vizsla who tragically lost their life in a house fire during the recent hurricane that swept through St. Louis.

This portrait is a gift from my client to the grieving family, a way to honor the memory of their beloved companion.

I pour my heart into each painting, especially when it’s meant to bring comfort. My hope is that this piece brings a little light during a very dark time.

I have been experimenting with Ai and have finally figured out how to turn photos of paintings into moving snippets. Now how cool is that?!
