Couple Portrait
I just finished a new couple portrait for a client who had send me what looked like a selfie taken at night in a car. The photo reference left a lot to be desired and it was quiet challenging to get the skin tones to look normal.
This work in progress some of the brush work involved before I cleaned everything up.
In the finished piece the eyes received little highlights and I continued to clean up the neck area, which seemed a bit off.
Once everything got cleaned up the painting was send off. I can hardly believe that this painting was painted from the reference photo below. Sometimes I surprise myself :)
