Bust of Vitellius 1/12 Scale Decorative Classical Bust
I have been experimenting with making classical busts with my Elegoo Mars 3 resin printer. It is a lot of fun to bring the classics back to live. These 1/12 scale busts measure 4x2.5 cm (1.5x 1.25 in) and are ideal as decorative pieces in a dollhouse that has a classical decor.
The files for some of the 3D prints can be found online and are usually rather large,. I scale them down to 1/12 scale and fix them up to get ready for printing. After the busts have cured it's time for painting.
An airbrush and thinned down Acrylics work well for applying colors. However it is a process that can take a while, since some of the details on such a small bust have to be coaxed out.
