I have two new cat portrait paintings that have recently been ordered. Here is a collage of work in progress shots of the first painting. I started with a two-tone black and white underpainting and proceeded with color layers. Each new layer builds upon the previous one to create the form. As the painting progresses more and more detail will be added. I am super busy so this blog post will be short.
