I still remember my German grandma's cheesecake, which looked just like the one featured here. When I spotted this recipe in a German Landkueche Magazine (2011) titled "Just like at Grandma's" it brought back fond memories of my childhood and time spend at Grandma's in Berlin. I had to save this recipe to my blog, so I can try it out. I have my Grandma's recipe somewhere as well and need to look for it, but for now I am going to have to give this one a try.
