I have belonged to the Nellie Gail Artist Group for many years and was pleased to have the opportunity to raise participate in raising funds for the Fran Joswick Therapeutic Riding Center/ Shea Center by participating in this art show. For over 27 years, the center has served the disabled community with their unique therapeutic horse back riding programs. Designated by the North American Riding from the Handicapped Association (NARHA) as a “premier center”—the highest possible level of accreditation, this center is one of the very few fully-accredited therapeutic riding centers in the United States that offers full-time hippo therapy and therapeutic sport riding programs.
