Abuelita Mexican Chocolate Iced Coffee
Iced Coffee made with Abuelita Mexican Chocolate by Coffeemate
If you like a silky, cinnamon rich authentic Mexican flavor you are in for a special treat. Coffee-mate has introduced their Latin Flavor line and introduced two new flavors:
- Abuelita® Mexican Chocolate is a silky, cinnamony, rich, authentic experience
- La Lechera® Dulce de Leche is a creamy, dreamy, milk caramel caress from the Southern side of the continent
Two New Latin Flavors by Coffeemate
The Abuelita Mexican Chocolate which comes in a 16 oz Liquid container was the flavor I chose to experiment with. Temperatures here in California are just as sizzling hot, as these new Latin flavors, so I made a refreshing iced coffee using the new Abuelita® Mexican Chocolate creamer.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Coffeemate Abuelita Mexican Chocolate Creamer
1/4 cup Whipping Cream
1 cup chilled Expresso
1/3 cup chocolate chips
2 scoops Vaniila Gelato (Ice Cream will work as well)
1 scoop Macchiato Gelato (to die for - but you can use chocolate as well)
Directions
1. Make the coffee ahead of time and place in refrigerator to cool.
2. In a blender combine Coffeemate Abuelita Mexican Chocolate Creamer, whipping cream and chocolate chips and blend until the mix is creamy and there are no big chocolate chip chunks.
3. Pour the mix into a tall glass and top with expresso.
4. Add Gelato flavors to taste and serve.
Warning - these iced coffees are irresistible - coffee-mate's smooth, creamy taste has been perfected to bring out the flavor in your coffee and it is very tempting to make this drink everyday.
However this drink does carry some serious calories thanks to the whipping cream and Gelato of course. So worth it thought - you have to try it! It's" impossible not to fall in love" with these two new flavors - even if you just put them in your daily coffee for a less sinful experience!
