Intense dabs of color lighten up the garden and garden centers around town. Yellow, orange, red, copper and deep mahogany hues lift our moods in anticipation of the holiday to come. This time of year is a favorite of mine. The crazy hot days of summer are dwindling giving way to cooler air. Even my flowers take a sigh of relieve and are coming back with new growth.
