The West Highland Terrier
Did you know that the all- white coat of the West Highland white Terrier should be hard to the touch? It should not feel soft or fluffy. This trait is ideal for me to go to town and really build up the texture in my West Highland Terrier portraits.
Norman lived for 16 years until he recently passed on to doggy heaven. I painted his portrait for a client in Florida and hope that the painting will be a nice remembrance of her loyal four legged friend. Below you can see a before and after shot.
