Reflections - Benji
My kids are grown and have lives of their own, which means that once I enter my studio, there is little distraction while I paint my days away. Even though solitude is welcomed while working, I love how my hubby entices me out of my little cocoon with the promise of a great cup of cappuccino and how my little "studio dog" Benji, makes sure I take breaks and watch him entertain me with his playfulness.
Benji is a 12 year old, on a good day - 4 pound, Tea Cup Silky Yorkie, who follows me wherever I go.
Here is a painting I did of him in 2006. I really should do a pet portrait in color though!
