The painting is finished! The final touches, such as the freckles and texture on the bat for example are completed and I am happy with the overall coloring. You can visit my client's blog and read what she thinks about her son's portrait
I tried to find a suitable baseball title, but just didn't find the right thing, so I went with one of
Petra's suggestions and titled the painting "Determination". I think this title sums up nicely the determined look the boy has and allows the viewer to read a narrative into the image of what might be happening here.
