The Waterlily Pond at Mission San Juan Capistrano

About 15 min drive from my home is a small town called
. It has a lovely old Mission that tourists to our area often visit aptly named the
. Recently I talked a friend of mine into visiting the Mission and we spend a wonderful time browsing the grounds and enjoying the lovely garden.

My all time favorite was a huge fountain, which also acted as a koi pond and was covered in blooming waterlilies. The colors of the blooms were spectacular!
