Algae
These photos were taken in La Jolla, Ca . At first glance I thought that the rock was covered by moss, but as I stepped closer I saw that the small waterfall and the humidity from the ocean breeze has created a rock entirely covered in algae.
Seagulls were frolicking around on top in the sun.
