Thoroughbred Horse Portrait 603
Share
Every thoroughbred horse should have their own portrait painted. This beautiful animal makes for such a great painting subject. Horses have appeared in works of art throughout history, as far back as the Lascaux, Horse, c. Stone Age cave paintings. Kings and nobility often were shown with their horses in grand paintings, either in battle or hunting.
In the reference photo the eyes could not be seen, so I made sure to add more detail to the pupils. I also added more definition to the ears.
