This is an oil portrait of a brown lab in a field of flowers. The idea with this painting was to really focus on the beautiful eyes of the dog. I took out the harness because it felt too distracting and really did not add further value. Heavy brushwork created a lush and thick coat.
The flowers are a series of dabs in various shades of pink with added dashes of yellow here and there.
