Mom's Pies in Julian

On a little outing to Julian, CA we stopped at Mom's Pies for desert. Since Julian is full of apple orchards what could be more appropriate than having apple pie for desert?!
The rustic interior reminded me a lot of the small restaurants I would encounter in Europe. Quaint and cozy, with the aroma of baked apples and cinnamon in the air anticipation kept on rising...

Served either cold or warmed up with a very generous scoop of vanilla ice cream you feel well taken care of. The taste is heavenly! To my surprise they even served a very good cup of cappuccino.
I loved Mom's Pies for both it's rustic charm and wonderful pies and will definately visit again.
