Tiffany 2nd Paint Layer
Share
The canvas was dry to the touch so I decided to keep working on Tiffany rather than on Eshal. Tiffany will be in Los Angeles by the end of the month and I like to show her the painting when I go up to see her perform.
Since the canvas was dry I oiled it out with of Cold Pressed Lindseed Oil. This brings back any sunken in colors and makes it easier to work. It has been a challenge for me to stick to a grey string, two red strings (warm and cool) and a yellow string. But it is also interesting to see how these colors relate to each other and what variations one can produce by different mixtures of them. My greys tend to have a blue tint against the magenta tones and this eliminates the need for blues. I might cheat later on and add a glaze of blue, but for now I am adhering to set rules.
