Order your very own pet portrait
Meet Mica, a Maltese Poodle mix whose owner won the July New Email Newsletter subscriber drawing. My client asked for a red/pink background and chose from a couple of different poses a frontal view of Mica.
This Maltese is white and when you look at a photo of a white dog pretty much everything blurs into one color. To give the animal lost of definition, I pulled colors from the bow and the background and now you can see the shape of the muzzle and separation between head and body. Of course the logo does not shot on the final version that my client will be receiving. I am attaching a close-up of the fur, so you can also see the amount of brushwork that has gone into this painting.
