This custom oil portrait of a Golden Retriever measures 20x20 inches and has been painted from a reference photo that lacked a lot of definition. The portrait now shows the beautiful eyes of the dog and the lovely, long fur we associate with this breed. In the video you can see how I turned the reference photo into this expressive portrait.
Every painting goes through different stages from the placement of the figure on the canvas to a general block in of color to the finals stages of adding all the texture and details. The end result is a lovely looking custom painted portrait for the family to love.
