🎸Robert’s Western World Diorama 🎸 - Making a Wood Panel Wall

Creating a miniature wood panel wall

Hey y'all, it's time to dive into the 2nd step of creating Robert's Western World honky tonk grill by working on the walls! 🤠 Today, I'm thrilled to announce that construction has officially kicked off! 🚧 And what's the 2nd step? Well, we're diving straight into the heart of honky-tonk charm by building a rustic wood panel wall for the right side of our shadow box display.

Craft Sticks

Now, you might be wondering, "How on earth are we going to achieve that in miniature?" Fear not, my fellow crafters! We've got a trick up our sleeves, or should I say, in our craft stash. We're going to use trusty craft sticks as our building blocks for this project. These versatile little sticks are about to undergo a magical transformation!

Cutting craft sticks to size

Step one: we're cutting those craft sticks to the perfect size to mimic those charming wooden panels adorning the walls of Roberts Western World. Precision is key here, folks! 🔨✂️

Step two: once we've got our mini panels ready to roll, it's time to add some character. We're taking colored pencils to the stage, enhancing the grain of the wood and infusing each panel with that authentic rustic vibe. Not only does this step bring out the natural beauty of the wood, but it also helps prevent any pesky warping. This wall is not finished and will undergo a few more changes in color and rustic charm. We want our honky-tonk haven to stand the test of time, after all!

So, while we're still in the early stages of this epic miniature adventure, the excitement is palpable! Stay tuned as we continue to bring Roberts Western World to life, one tiny detail at a time. 🌟 Who knows what other surprises and challenges await us on this creative journey? Keep those cowboy boots on standby and your crafting supplies at the ready, because we're just getting started! 🎨✨
