Zwilling J.A. Henckels Thermolon Ceramic Non-Stick Pans

While out shopping before Christmas, I spotted theses Zwilling J.A. Henckles Thermolon Ceramic Non-Stick Pans at Williams Sonoma and was very intrigued. So much so that I put them on my Christmas list. Well, guess what ?! Apparently, Santa and his helpers like to eat good food and they gave Mrs. Claus just what she had asked for.
After cooking with these pans, I love them so much that I just had to share what I thought of them. I should point out that I am not getting paid to write a review and that I am just one happy customer. If you watch the video, you will see how food is evenly cooked and browns beautifully. Sticky stuff like Macaroni and Cheese are cleaned up super easy and yes, eggs do slide around just as shown. Additionally, the pans are oven safe up to 500 degrees F, which allows for starting a dish on the stove and finishing it off in the oven. Another nice feature is that the handles stay cool at all times. Did I mention, I love these pans yet?!
Some people say that after some months the pans loose their non-stick ability, but I think thats because you have to make sure never to use the pan on a higher setting than 500 F or to put it in cold water while still hot. As with any tool, you have to make sure to care for it to be able to enjoy it's full functionality.
Now I have my eyes set on larger pots and I think I will put them on my Birthday Wish list. Painting everyday and spending long hours seated has not been kind to my figure and excess oil is being drastically removed from cooking. With this non stick surface food can be fried with only a drop of oil, which is not only healthier, but cuts down on the daily calorie intake without taste sacrifice.
