Cavachon Portrait 598

Cavachon Painting 598 The oil portrait of the Cavachon is finished and I have a couple of close-up shots of the face and outdoor setting to show. The brickwork and shrubs in the background are painted in a looser style so it does not distract from the dog.

Cavachon Painting from Photo 598

Cavachons have a very wavy/ curly coat and in order to make it show up, the many curls were painted with soft pink, beige and yellow as well as white grey tinged with green and blue. I even sneaked in some vibrant orange and yellow, because I felt it really gave the cavachon that extra touch tomato hit pop.
