A Posthumous Dog Portrait
Losing a pet is never easy and the owner of this cutie is devasted by the loss of her beloved dog. That's why this posthumous dog portrait will have special significance when it is gifted to the owner.
The reference photo has a nice background and I used the same colors for the foreground of the painting. However, I changed the background to a softer blue-gray, because I feel it compliments the orange toned fur better.
