Several weeks ago I had a very strange dream, where I saw a huge golden Koi fish jump out of water. In my dream, without any hesitation I jumped to catch it, but don't remember what happened after wards.Ever since then I have been thinking it must mean s.th. In particular I felt it meant I had to wait for a special opportunity to grab a hold off.
So Saturday evening while browsing through Facebook, the owner of MFA Talon Graphics
(the wonderful place where I get my top notch giclee prints made) reminded artist that Art a Fair was doing it's annual jurying the next morning for walk ins.
On the spur of the moment I decided to go for it, got up early the next morning and submitted three works. That same evening I was told I received the highest score available and was welcomed as a new exhibiting artist! This is an internationally juried show and I still can't believe I actually got in :)
Ill prepared, which is so unlike me, I jumped at the opportunity, grabbed paintings off the walls and went for it. Now I know the outcome of my dream!
Now that I jumped at this opportunity, I need another dream guiding me how on earth to fill my booth with art work to last me for two months!
