When I work on a commissioned painting I retreat from the world like a hermit. Once the painting is finished though, it's like the lioness has left the cage and with a roar I hit the town.
On such an occasion of celebrating the renewed freedom my friends and I visited this store called Heavenly Hostes in Old Town Orange, CA.
A believer that you do not have to look messy just because you are an artist, has me donning all sorts of aprons while painting, but I had no idea I could actually look super stylish as well! Now how cool are these?
Cynthia Wadell said: "I wanted the elegance and quality of the aprons that my grandmother wore with such grace during holidays and special occasions - they always looked so elegant and festive!” This has led her to create her Heavenly Hostess where she sells these very beautiful, glamorous hostess aprons made with satins, embellished lace and organza fabrics, including beading and specialty trims.
They aprons are a bit on the pricey side ($80 - $125), but the store actually makes you want to run into the kitchen and prepare dinner for a party, donning one of these stylish looking aprons.
