Ghureh - Unripe Grapes
Ghureh are unripe grapes that are picked off the vine and sold in clusters in Iranian Grocery stores in the produce section. I usually buy them and store them in a plastic bag in the freezer.
They are also sold pickled in jars or as juice.
Tart in flavor they are milder tasting than lemon juice and are used in several ways in Persian cuisine.
