Old Book Illustration

Regardless of which country I visit, I always make time to visit as many second hand book stores as possible. I just love searching for those little old gems that have been long forgotten and whose pages have the tell tale signs of age.

These illustrations come from a children book, written in old German script. Being that my mom is German, my schooling has also been in German as well. I always feel this urge to safe these old books, especially if they are old and are written in the old script, before someone comes along and makes paper art out of them and cuts it all to pieces!
