Golden Chanterelle

If you are a Mushroom lover you might like to know that Costco is now selling Chanterelle Mushrooms. They are only sold for a limited time, so stock up on these wonderfully delicious mushrooms.
The taste ranges from slightly fruity to more woody or earthy.I like mine best sauteed in just a little bit of butter with a dash of fresh parley added for garnish.
Fresh Chanterelles can be stored in a freezer. Clean them first, pat dry gently and place them lying next to each other on a cookie sheet in your freezer. Once they are frozen, you can take them and put them in a freezer bag. Frozen they will last for several months.
