I love browsing through nurseries around Christmas time. Besides Christmas trees that are laden with ornaments and lights, flower arrangements in a variety of colors can make such a nice seasonal statement, don't you think?!
Hanging flower baskets
Something that we often overlook in the United States are window decorations. In Europe you often see flower baskets with nice seasonal arrangements dressing up windows. I was looking at my bare bone windows and decided this year, I am going to invest in some rod iron baskets to dress up my windows. These hanging arrangements would look so great in front of a window!
Poinsettas
If you have a semi shaded area around the house this set up would also look great. First I thought the green backdrop was real, but upon closer inspection I saw that fake greenery was attached to a backing. The flowers were such a show stopper that most people didn't even realize the optical illusion.
Train
Of course no floral arrangement would be complete without a Christmas choo-choo train! Well, I guess I could pass on that one, but kids love to watch as the trains go around the track. Happy Holidays my friends!
