Bichon Frise Portrait

Another cutie patootie, this Bichon Frise portrait just got done. A Bichon Frise is a small breed of dog of the Bichon type. The Bichon Frise is a member of the Non-Sporting Group of dog breeds in the United States, and a member of the Toy Dog Group in the United Kingdom.Wikipedia

Sometimes less is more and I like the soft beige background for this portrait. It allowed me to play up the soft yellows and pinks in the fur. This is also my first Bichon Frise portrait - which was lots of fun to paint.
